How do you frame a stained glass window panel without blocking image ?

Stained glass panel is 37.5" high x 23.5" wide. Will install it as part of a window treatment (incorporated as part of a custom-made window). Will not be suspended and needs to be framed prior to incorporating it to the window itself. Thanks for your prompt response !

I guess I would make 2 standard frames and sandwich the glass in between them.

It may be hard to get a perfect and secure fit without breaking the glass, especially if you don't have all the proper tools…

Maybe this is a job for a professional framer!

what kind of tattoo would symbolize the art of stained glass?

i've been thinking of getting a tattoo, and a good rule of thumb i've been told to follow while choosing a tattoo for you, would be to get something that is special and meaningful to you. since i work with stained glass, i was hoping of getting a tattoo symbolizing my art. does anyone have any suggestions?

i once had plans to get some stained glass roses tattooed on my forearm as part of one of my sleeves. i went into the local Tiffany store and was totally wowed by them. now, the plans have changed, but i still think it would make for an amazing tattoo.

How does your family handle gifts for Christmas?

Now that we are all older and have our own children- my sisters and brothers and I draw names for christmas. We set a limit (usually around $50) and you buy that much for one person- and we keep who you have a secret. Then since the children are little still (between 8months and 7 years) we just all buy them gifts. This helps so we aren't buying 20 dollar gifts for the 7 of us siblings-
Now, on my moms side of the family (the extended family- aunts, uncles, grandparents) we started a tradition a few years ago. Ever since we were small, we drew names- but it was getting "boring" to buy things and with such a large family- nobody ever had much money. Sooooo we decided to do a gift exchange (we usually play a game like pass the presents until the music stops) only the gifts have to be hand/home made. It's inexpensive and sooo fun! The gifts mean so much more- things range from stained glass to jewelry to Food (cookies and bread) etc..
WHAT ARE SOME TRADITIONS YOUR FAMILY HAS?

We usually just buy for the kids(my nephews) and my brothers buy for my kids. Nothing big, just $15 to $20 gifts. We stoppd buying for eachother because it was getting too expensive!!LOL. We usually spilt on gifts for our parents as well. I also get gifts for my kids' god-parents. I usually try to get them something the kids can personalize.
